Whiz, boom, bang—experience energy in action. A distinctive four-story centerpiece, the Energy Machine, provides a visual and conceptual link to exhibits throughout the museum. Balls are raised to the top of a four-story tower, then roll along tracks through the machine, converting potential energy into kinetic energy and kinetic energy into sound, light and movement. Designed in conjunction with an exhibition master plan and over 200 exhibits for the museum.

3,200 sq.ft., four stories high
