The California Museum of History, Women and the Arts will be a new kind of history museum, using interactive exhibits to highlight California’s ideas, innovations and influence. Four main galleries will explore California’s unique culture that attracts newcomers, fosters creativity, and affects life within and outside the state. Engaging exhibits, topical programs, and changing temporary shows, will present a broad view of California culture for schoolchildren and adults alike.
