Guangdong Science Center:
Health and Human Perception
GUANGZHOU, CHINA
The Guangdong Science Center, Guangzhou, China will be the largest science center in the world.

West Office won an international competition to design one of its four galleries—a 28,000 square foot space and coordinated the work of the other design firms on the remaining galleries.

Exhibit topics in the West Office-designed gallery include: the human body, medicine and health, and perception and thinking. Original, interactive exhibits and immersive environments allow visitors to: understand the integrated functions of the human body, check out new ways of looking at the body and treating disease, and explore the individual decisions that influence their personal health. Through fascinating illusions and fun, first-hand experiences, visitors discover how they use their brains, senses and imagination to both perceive and understand the world.
