Founded by Maria Shriver and named for the Roman goddess who graces the California State Seal, the Minerva Awards honor women who have stepped forward and changed our world with their courage, strength, and wisdom. Given every year at The Women’s Conference®, the awards celebrate women who work to make this world a more compassionate, tolerant and just place. The permanent exhibit chronicling the lasting legacies of the winners resides at The California Museum in Sacramento.
